Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Whether it's an unexpected event, a family obligation, or simply a change in circumstances, our goal is to make the cancellation process as clear and straightforward as possible.
Cancellation Overview
Before canceling your tour, please keep the following in mind:
- Cancellation requests may be submitted by phone or email. Once a cancellation request is received, Fantasy RV Tours will send a cancellation confirmation email. A cancellation is not considered finalized until the guest responds to the cancellation confirmation email. The effective date of cancellation will be the date the guest's response is received.
- Any applicable refund will be issued by check and is typically received within 30–40 days after the cancellation has been finalized and processed.
- Cancellation fees are based on the number of days before departure and are calculated using the full tour price before any discounts are applied.
- Overseas tours have a separate cancellation schedule.
- Refund eligibility may be affected by the cancellation policies of third-party suppliers included in your tour.
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all tours, especially overseas tours, to help protect your travel investment.
- Guests may switch to another available Fantasy RV Tour at any time prior to departure, subject to tour availability and applicable switch fees.
- Some suppliers may issue future travel credits instead of cash refunds.
How to Cancel
If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify Fantasy RV Tours as soon as possible.

The applicable cancellation fee will be determined based on the effective date of cancellation, which is the date the guest's response to the cancellation confirmation email is received by Fantasy RV Tours.
Refunds and Supplier Policies
Many components of our tours, including campgrounds, attractions, transportation providers, hotels, and other travel services, are operated by third-party suppliers.
Because these suppliers establish their own cancellation and refund policies, the amount eligible for refund will vary depending on the services included in your reservation and the timing of your cancellation.
In some cases, suppliers may provide a future travel credit rather than a cash refund.
Fantasy RV Tours will make every reasonable effort to obtain any available refunds on your behalf. However, all refunds are subject to supplier approval and payment. Fantasy RV Tours cannot guarantee refunds for services provided by third-party suppliers and are not responsible for a supplier's refusal or inability to issue a refund.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 30 days after written cancellation is received, and all supplier determinations have been completed.
Standard Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your tour, the following cancellation schedule will apply:
150 days or more before departure: All payments made will be refunded, minus a $99 per person cancellation fee.
149–120 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
119–60 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 25% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
59–30 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 40% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
29 days or less before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
Overseas Tour Refund Policy
Overseas tours often require larger deposits and earlier commitments with our travel partners. Because of this, a different cancellation schedule applies:
150 days or more before departure: All payments made will be refunded, minus a $300 per person cancellation fee. (Exception: Real Outback tours are subject to a $99 per person cancellation fee.)
149–120 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 25% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
119–60 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 35% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
59–30 days before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
29 days or less before departure: A cancellation fee equal to 75% of the full tour price (before discounts) will apply. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
Switching Tours
Sometimes a change of plans doesn't mean canceling altogether.
Guests may request to switch to another available Fantasy RV Tour at any time prior to departure, subject to tour availability.
Switch Fees
More than 150 days prior to departure:
- Domestic Tours: $99 per reservation
- Overseas Tours: $99 per person (Exception: The Real Outback Tour)
- Real Outback Tour: $99 per reservation
150 days or less prior to departure:
- Domestic Tours: The applicable switch fee will be equal to the cancellation fee in effect at the time the switch is finalized.
- Overseas Tours (including Real Outback): The applicable switch fee will be equal to the cancellation fee in effect at the time the switch is finalized, based on the tour's cancellation schedule.
If the new tour has a higher price than the original tour, guests will be responsible for paying the difference. If the new tour has a lower price, guests may choose to receive either a refund of the difference, or a travel credit.
The applicable switch fee will be determined based on the date the switch is finalized by Fantasy RV Tours.
Travel Insurance
Over the years, we've learned that even the most carefully planned trips can be affected by unexpected circumstances.
For that reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Depending on the policy selected, travel insurance may provide coverage for cancellation penalties, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency transportation, and other unforeseen events.
